The 2012 Steiner Creek Pinot Noir follows our inaugural release from this vineyard, located three miles north of Cambria.  Four inter-planted Dijon clones and sandy, cobbled soils lend structure, minerality and an inherent earthiness to this wine.  We are proud to be one of two wineries sourcing fruit from this exciting coastal site suited so perfectly for Pinot Noir.

More about this wine

Winemaker Notes
Forest floor, pipe tobacco, fresh mushroom, red cherry, cassis, a hint of baking spice and sandalwood are dominant on the nose of this deep garnet colored wine. On the palate, silky fine tannin and excellent structure frame flavors of ripe red cherry, raspberry and pomegranate followed by bright, balanced acidity and a lengthy finish. We suggest decanting for two hours before enjoying.
