To step into a New Year full of good fortune, health and happiness we have a few rules to abide by, and thankfully Hoppin' John + a Mess of other Southern-dinner favorites will cover most of our bases! Being born and raised in Southern Arkansas, Hoppin' John was served every New Year's Day and has been for more than a century. This tasty dish of rice, black-eyed peas and pork is believed by many to ensure wealth and bring good luck in the upcoming year.
