Jillian McGehee, Inviting Arkansas

An event that features fine wines, including his personal favorites, and benefits the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is definitely something wine connoisseur and philanthropist Rex Kyle wholeheartedly supports. As president of Trust and Wealth Management at Bank of the Ozarks, Rex combines his business and community leadership into measurable results for a variety of organizations in Central Arkansas. As this year’s honoree at A Vintage Affair for MS, Rex will receive the MS Hope Award in recognition of his commitment to improving the lives of those affected by MS. “The bank has always encouraged civic leadership as part of our career,” Rex says. “I became involved in the local MS organization through my friend Rick Fleetwood after he heard that I lost an aunt to MS.”

A Vintage Affair features a fun-filled night of wine tasting, live and silent auctions, a wine pull and much more. New this year is a private VIP reception sponsored by Presqu’ile Wine. Presqu’ile Winery is located in the Santa Maria Valley of California – a venture with the Murphy family of Arkansas.

red or white wine: Both please!

favorite wine: The Murphy family’s Presqu’ile pinot noir

It would be surprising to know: In high school and college I was a rodeo bull rider – with plenty of broken bones and stitched up wounds to go with it.
