2012 Sauvignon Blanc, Santa Maria Valley

2012 Sauvignon Blanc receives 91 points from vinous

Josh Raynolds, vinous
December 2013

"Pale yellow. Fresh Meyer lemon and melon on the nose, with notes of pear skin and white pepper adding complexity. Juicy and broad, with good depth and power to its honeydew and orchard fruit flavors. The lemony quality comes back on the finish, adding lift and finishing bite. Fleshy and vivacious." (Made mostly from fruit grown on the winery's estate vineyard, with 10% sourced from the Riverbench vineyard; aged for 7 months in neutral French oak) 91
